Project Overview

A simple app to display, count, sort, and delete 3D playing cards in a 2D digital format. Alongside prototyping, I had to design six original playing cards in my own style—three face cards, two numeric cards, and one ace—based on the standard playing cards deck. With a focus on
simplification, which will challenged me to concentrate on the most essential elements and
structures within my design.

Card Designs

My choice in card face design came from my liking of stars, where I decided having a playing cards be the planets in our universe.

Takeways

Overall, there is a lot to think about. From user interaction to simplicity to overall functioning of the cards. Basically how not only myself but others can easily interact and understand the functioning of my cards, thinking on what natural reactions I would have if this were to be a card game, and making sure everything was inline with each other and ran smoothly and nothing looked or felt jittery.
